Introduction:

Flowers hold sentimental value and capturing their beauty forever is now easier with epoxy resin. This user guide will walk you through the simple process of preserving dried flowers in resin, allowing you to create stunning, everlasting floral art pieces.

Materials Needed:

- Artistry Deep Casting Epoxy (Hardener and Resin)

- Pressed or not pressed Dried Flowers

- Resin Molds (Various Shapes and Sizes)

- Mixing Cups and Stir Sticks

- torch and heat gun (To remove bubbles)

- Protective Gear (Gloves, Apron)

Step 1: Prepare the Resin:

- Start by preparing your Deep Cast Epoxy. Ensure you have all materials ready before mixing.

- Measure equal parts of the Hardener and Resin in separate cups.

- Stir the mixture for 2 minutes, scraping the sides and bottom of the cup gently.

- Transfer the mixture to a clean cup and stir for an additional 1 minute until well combined.

Step 2: Pour the First Layer:

- Pour a small amount of the mixed resin into the mold.

- Gently place the pressed flowers on top of the resin in the mold. Arrange them as desired.

Step 3: Add Additional Layers:

- Wait for about 2 hours to allow the flowers to set and resin to gel.

- Pour another layer of resin over the flowers. This secures them in place and adds depth to your artwork.

- If bubbles appear on the surface, use a heat gun to carefully pop them.

Step 4: Cure and Demold:

- Allow sufficient time for the resin to cure completely. Refer to the epoxy manufacturer’s instructions for the curing duration, usually around 24-96 hours. For deep pours

- Once fully cured, gently demold your preserved flowers from the molds. They will now be encapsulated in a clear, glossy resin.

Tips for Success:

- Use a variety of molds to create diverse resin shapes, enhancing the artistic appeal of your project.

- Experiment with different flower arrangements and color combinations for unique designs.

- Work in a well-ventilated area and wear protective gear to ensure safety during the resin process.

- Store your resin creations away from direct sunlight to maintain their clarity and color vibrancy.
