Ocean Wave Can Cooler Tumbler Tutorial!
https://youtu.be/cb4vn1d4sS8
Hey, guys, I had a request from my Sister-in-law to do this can cooler for a friend as a gift. I've never done one of these can coolers. My first step was obviously prepped with the final sand, then spray painted it the whole thing white then I took the lagoon from rust-oleum and painted on these little swirly stripes on either side then I cleaned it up with the white then once that was dry, I took some artistry epoxy.
Finally, I did a teeny thin layer to put some glitter on, and this glitter is from my first collection that will be launching soon. I'm going to wait to tell you guys the names, but the theme of this glitter collection may go along with the theme of this cup.
Doing a darker teal color in the middle, then going on with this pretty Blue and then this more greenish color on the outside, taking the white glitter, a finer cut, and putting that in between its complete coverage of glitter.
Once I did the glitter, I sealed that with the rust-oleum matte, then did a layer of the fast set epoxy layer, then a second layer to cover since there was chunky glitter. Then, once still wet, I took some white and dragged it Through for our waves.
Then take a heat gun or an embossing gun, and move it around, but be careful you don't overheat it because it will start to run and drip. Then I wanted to add a few more. Once that was dry, I took the name, and this font is Modena from the app, and I love this font. I am curious to know how many times I've used it. I need to do different fonts. This one always looks good. Her name was Jessica. I decided to do it sideways to match the wave scene I had going on.
Then a final layer of epoxy and this can cooler was done. I'm obsessed with these colors. I cannot wait to tell you the names. Thank you, guys, for watching. I will see you guys at the next one.
