TROPIC VIBES Leopard Peek-a-boo Tumbler Tutorial!

I am starting with this green cup. I wanted to do a tropical cup but didn't need to paint it. Still, I prep it with a thin layer of our artistry tumbler and epoxy. Make sure you spread it thinly and cover the entire cup. I'm taking oasis and odyssey in these small and medium cuts from my color flex line. I'm sprinkling them on in blotchy.
It's just marked the two different greens thought it would look beautiful to have the peekaboo leaves have the two different tones of glitter and small and medium just because leaves aren't, you know, all one color. They have different dimensions and depths to them. So that's what I was going for with the splotchiness.
Then add the first layer of epoxy after sealing this with some clear spray paint. Then once I was dry went ahead and took fine sandpaper and just went over it just that there were no rough patches where the glitter is just like to do this in between glitter or in between the transparent layers on top of glitter that our end product is nice and smooth adding another layer then I had cut out all my tropical leaves I did just different shaped leaves took my words I wanted to put tropical vibes on here. Then I did an offset on that's the more significant white piece.
Then I'm just adding my leaves, and this Vinyl does not lay very flat, but it's okay for doing peekaboo's. Still, since we're just painting and peeling these off, it didn't matter just put my words on one side and then layering on the leaves just on the top and bottom just wherever I thought they would look good, then was doing a little pineapple on the bottom this is the offset of that then I just painted it with this warm brown shade I forget which paint this.
Then I gave it about 10-15 minutes to let it dry and then just peeled these off. It's easier to peel them. At the same time, it's just barely dry, like you don't want to do it when it's wet, but if you wait too long, it could start peeling off the cup. So we don't want to give it a good 10 to 20 minutes, and then I peel off all my decals, and this is the satisfying part about doing a peekaboo taking off these decals to reveal the beautiful glitter underneath.
And it turned out fantastic with the splotchy colors under there because you get the two different shades, and it looks more like natural leaves. However, real leaves are not glittery. Do you know what I mean? Let it fully dry, and add another layer of epoxy. Then once that was dry, I added all my Decals. I chose this pretty iridescent that's what it's called iridescent peachy pink shade just thought this would give a perfect look for this tropical Cup. Adding the little pineapple on the Bottom, we will add some glitter leopard spots.
I'm just taking mod podge and this beautiful glitter that I have coming in a tropical collection whenever I get around to releasing it just got the tropical bug and wanted to use this glitter, so it's just a pretty peachy iridescent it matches that vinyl that used just going around the whole cup I tried to do smaller leopard print on this than typically do I'm just keeping the glitter spots small and then doing a couple and glittering them then doing a couple more just it doesn't dry before I get the glitter on.
Once that was dry, I sealed it with clear spray paint and went on with another layer of epoxy. Then once that was dry, taking my paint pen, and I just got these at Michael's and drew on my leopard spots. As I said, I'm doing a smaller print than usual I love all shapes and sizes of leopard print feel like you could never go wrong with leopard.
This cup had a lot of steps to it, but it was worth it, and this is how it turned out. I hope you guys like it. Let me know if you guys are working on any fun summery cups.
