ALCOHOL INK GEODE TUMBLER TUTORIAL!

ALCOHOL INK GEODE TUMBLER TUTORIAL!

https://youtu.be/-_HgC7LY0_Q Hey guys, I'm starting with a pure white cup. This is how it came. I already have it prepped. I'm taking my epoxy, my mixed epoxy. This is the artistry art and tumbler epoxy and adding some of my wave white pigment. I don't know that this made a difference, but I've seen people do white in their epoxy when they do alcohol inks. So I decided to spread the layer of epoxy out evenly, then take my alcohol inks and this set. I got it from amazon. It was cheap for a decent-sized set, dripping it on in random spots and a couple of different colors, and I kept a lot of the cup white. I'm explicitly leaving some white because that's what I wanted and just going over with those couple of Colors. There's like green in there and two different colors of blue, then I'm taking my little air puffer thing for alcohol Ink and moving that around. It looks streaky when it's turning. Doing this adds a little bit of a different look. You get various little pockets in there of color and pigmentation. That's what I did; it looked like I once cured it. Next, I took my little metallic paint. I love these are from Michael's and have an excellent paint brush and outlined where I wanted to around the white areas. If you go too heavy, I randomly used a light hand with this part. It draws a little thicker line, and I prefer it to look more natural and jagged. Then I realized I didn't put any alcohol ink on the bottom. So it looked dumb using some Elmer's glue because I couldn't find mod Podge, and come to find out, mod podge is Elmer's glue with water in it, coating the bottom using my color flex glitters. These will be coming out this next week, hopefully. So keep an eye out for that but do this pretty white in the center and then coat the blue on the outside. Then, I did two more layers of the epoxy to finish the cup, and then my cup was done, taking it off the turner and adding the lid back on. That's it for this video, you guys. Thank you much for watching. I will see you at the next one bye.
