FALL FAWN GLITTER SWIRL Tumbler Tutorial! Day 9 of 10 Days of Fall!
https://youtu.be/vhwS5_pN3_c
Hey guys, welcome to day nine of my 10 days of fall. Today's focus is on this adorable baby fawn, a baby deer, but okay, a fall fawn is what I call a little tumbler. It's like a mini little guy, and I wanted to do something like the dear tiny fawn print on there and kind of a swirl pattern, but I thought it was so cute. I know dear baby deer are always around all year, but the colors just look significantly fall, and I think it turned out so cute. I do have a giveaway with glitter, paint, and epoxy.
I'm starting with this little bell tumbler that I found. It's just so small and so cute. This was just at Ross for $7.99. I'm taking off the wrapper and stickers, prepping with the mod and a maroon pad, then taking grounded color fix paint and just doing a full coverage on the whole cup. I'm using one of our large brushes. It's just a makeup brush, but any fluffy makeup brush will do and just give you a friendly, smooth application. Once that was all dry, I went in with some mixed epoxy and just coated it in just a super thin layer. So we can do our glitter, and this is the one-to-one.
I'm using two colors of glitter glue in the small and oryx in the medium. I thought the darker and lighter, like a coppery brown, would look nice. So I'm going in a swirl pattern, the same as you do with a milky way kind of swirl cup, but I just put the darker brown in the middle, and then I'm going the other way.
I think doing different-sized cuts looks nice. So once that was dry, I went on with more epoxy, going on the non-glittered part first, then the glittered part just in case any glitter moved. Then I had an idea. I was trying to make this look milky, so I did the white striping and smoothed it out. Then I added this glitter. This is kind of just flat white glitter. Then I realized I didn't like it at all, so I liked the fact that dumping the white glitter on there just added a little bit more spots, like random spots, so deer have like two kinds of spots, and then outside that is more just random spots, so that's kind of what I did.
I feel this worked out better than the Milky Way style. I don't know why I was like, "Oh, I'll do a milky way, and it didn't work," so this was a better option. I love it, and I hope you like let me know your thoughts, and don't forget to check out my other fall videos. See you in the next one. Bye Bye.
