HOLLY JOLLY WINE GLASS TUMBLER TUTORIAL!
https://youtu.be/2HFac3xGRmw
Hey, guys, It is a miracle that I got all these cups done. I love doing this. I love doing creative things and being pushed to do them. I feel like it makes me want to do more things that I wouldn't have usually done. I prepped it with mattify and spray-painted this red from rust-ileum. I thought it had different tones of red in there, but I like pops of iridescent and holographic red, I figured it would be a lovely Christmas mix, and I had to name it 12/25.
Do a full coverage of glitter on the entire cup, all the way to the bottom. Then with a chunky glitter like this, I go along and pat down any parts sticking out, and then once that's dried, I add a first layer of the artistry mattify, which can seal this. Then, if you want, with clear spray paint, but if it's all one color, I usually don't, and look at how pretty this glitter is. Then, once that was dry, I added the usual. Again, I took her layer before we did any decals.
Now I'm adding this little holly jolly in white. I think this was actually on the canvas app, as it is. It's cute. I don't know where the canvas has been. I feel like I used it a long time ago, and I didn't like it, but recently I've been using it, and they have much great stuff on there. If you don't have a canvas, you should check it out because things like this are simple when you find it already done and glittery. I got these little stickers I purchased from Hobby Lobby or Michael's. I don't remember which one, but these are amazing. I have them in silver and gold, I use them on several cups, but these are beautiful. Because they're glittery, stickers don't tear easily. I'm being gentle because I didn't. I want to pull. They don't tear easily. flop in. It's no issue putting epoxy over it.
Yeah, whatever this brand is, if you guys see these, get them. They are excellent for tumblers. I wanted to do this little accent underneath the holly jolly on the front. Then I tried to add a little accent on the back. I saw which ones I liked and picked that little one there. Then add a couple more tiny accents and, of course, one to the bottom. I feel like a cup is naked if I don't add something to the bottom. I know it's weird, but I do, most of the time, add something to the bottom of my cups. We are on our way home. We are on our way to America. Then with the next coat of epoxy and one more final coat. I usually do between three and five coats of epoxy per cup. This one got four, and then I did this cup.
I took it off my turner and put it on the lid, which is how it turned out. I think it was adorable. I love its sparkly red. Then, I decided to show you how I would package them. This reminded me of an ornament. I wanted this clear olly candy cane tea. How perfect is that?
I got these cute little velvet bow hair ties, which I always try to wear when I do gifts. It's nice to do stuff for the packaging they can use later, like this little clear tin thing you can use for something else. Repurpose it. I put that in the little bin, then put the t on top, and then used a little hair tie as a little accent bow, but then, of course, they get a little hair tie out of it. So I added a little clear packing tape to help that stick together.
Then I used my ribbon and added a piece of clear tape stuck to the bottom, and then I brought it up along the sides and tied a bow on top. I did stick my tape on there as well to hold it together. Then I trimmed the ribbon, and it was all packaged. Let me know what you think. I think this has turned out to be freaking adorable. I'm happy with it. Stay tuned for tomorrow. Thank you much for watching. Bye.
