ICED GINGERBREAD TUMBLER TUTORIAL! Day 2 of 12 Days of Christmas!

https://youtu.be/1tokUxiMbEc

Hey, guys, welcome to day two of my 12 Days of Christmas. Today's cup is stinking cute. It is the gingerbread baking Co a gingerbread-inspired cup. I've seen a lot of Cups with a gingerbread man on it or, like, it's gingerbread themed, but this is like the whole cup is gingerbread if that makes sense. It makes me want to eat gingerbread if you're going to see how to get this cup.

Let's get into the tutorial and ensure you return for day three gold rings. Starting with this cup is from maker flow. It's a 32-ounce tapered cup. I love maker flow. Their cups are of great quality. I love their Lids. You get this nice box that comes in and has a care card inside.

I'm going to use these two paints that are coming out in the earth bundle, which should be soon, but these two mixed made the perfect gingerbread color, mixing. I'm using one of our large brushes. It's like a large makeup brush. It will apply the color fix paint nice and smooth and give you that full coverage smooth application, but look how perfect this color is as gingerbread. It makes me want to eat gingerbread right now.

Then do a second coat. If I'm doing glitter over top of the color fix paint, I'll do one coat, but if I'm doing the solid color, I like two, then going in with my first layer of epoxy. This is the Artistry one-to-one fast set coming in, and I was scared that it would get stuck to the epoxy, which would not have been good, but luckily it stayed over there, and then it flew away afterwards. Then I cut out some decals in white vinyl. I found some little gingerbread house designs that were cute.

I got them from the studio app, then used some transfer tape to put this on the cup. This little house didn't have like a white outline. I did an offset to get the white outline of it and then transferred that on, but I loved that this little house was skinny and Tall. So many are broader and shorter, but this one looks cute on this cup.

Then I cut out these little zigzag and swirl-looking trees, anything I thought could be icing on a gingerbread cookie. Deciding where I wanted those on my cup, I did one tree on either side of the little house and then another one on the back Foreign, and you could even put little gingerbread men or women on your little cup. I wanted to keep it straightforward with trees, the house, and some snowflakes.

Then I got this gingerbread baking Co decal from Etsy. I will link it down below. It did have a bunch of other Christmas stuff in there, and it had a border around that as well, but I took that off. I wanted it simpler than cutting out a bunch of different types of snowflakes in various sizes. Some are bigger or smaller. I think I did like three different designs of snowflakes to give it some little variations in there, then, of course, I had to weed that out, and it was very time-consuming, and I never think about how easy something is going to be to weed before I cut it out.

I think it's cute, and I cut it out, and then I'm like, I should have thought I should have got simpler snowflakes that didn't have like these little intricate insides that I had to weed out, but I didn't think about that make sure you're thinking about that when you're cutting out vinyl because I never do. Then, placing the snowflakes around the cup, I like to start with the front to ensure it looks good with what is already there. I want to start with the bigger snowflakes. I'll get those on first, then the small ones, and then you do the small ones to fill in the space.

Keep going until you're happy with how it looks. Then I did another layer of epoxy. I'm taking glitter glue in our little needle bottle and snowy glitter in small with the bottle. I go and outline where I want to get glitter.

You want to squeeze gently with this bottle to add a little bit of Sparkle here and there. This cup would look good with no glitter and then be done as a matte cup, but I wanted to add a little bit of Sparkle to the snowflakes. So I'm more dotted in the center and then a DOT here and there around the edges. I didn't want to leave the whole thing and get less glitter.

Then once that was done, I did two more layers of epoxy to finish off the cup, and I did it. It's cute but too much and over the top. I think you guys know by now my style is a little more subtle and a little more simple, and I love it. I love these colors. I love everything about it, and how cute would this be to be drinking from while you're making a gingerbread house? That is it for this video, and make sure you come back tomorrow for day three. Bye, guys.
