MILKY WAY Spray Bottle Set Tumbler Tutorial!
https://youtu.be/CMz7-zAm0sM
Hey guys, I'm starting with these stainless steel spray bottles. They came in a pack of three from amazon. I will link them down below if I can find them, but I went ahead and prepped them, and then I'm just going to tape off the top, so I don't get paint on the top. Then I painted them all white and added a swirl of color. I wanted to be jewel-toned for my room, my craft room, to do different alcohols in, so I just counted that colored swirl down the middle. Once that was dry, I took a bit of my mixed epoxy to add some Glitter, and I started this video almost a year ago. That's how long ago I did this cup.
It was so sprinkling on some white glitter. I also did not have my color flex glitters yet, so this is just a white glitter from Michaels that I'm using. Then this was a test glitter that I had just this pretty light Pink just all down the center of the pink, then adding these chunky iridescent pink ones. This would look cute with it.
So I did the same thing with the others, adding the white and a lighter version of the color in the middle of the color stripe and adding a chunky iridescent in between the white and the other color. So then, once that was dry, I went ahead and sealed it with some clear spray paint then I just went on with another layer of epoxy. So I did two layers before the decals, so I'm dealing with them. One is opal alcohol, so it's alcohol with some opal mica powder. One is just regular alcohol, and then one I'm just doing for water for all my little craft spray needs.
I took some gold vinyl and cut those out in my craft room studio. I have all kinds of white everything and then pops of jewel tone colors, so that's why I kind d to do these cute bright colors for these so than just adding another layer of epoxy.
Then after a few minutes, I mixed some white pigment in my epoxy. I'm just layering that on their type of just more on the lighter color of glitter to make our milky way than taking an embossing gun and just moving that around and blending it out, then taking some glitter and sprinkling that on there this is chunky gold glitter. I'm sprinkling it kind of on the white on the other sides of where I put the names, and with milky ways, I find that they look so much better when you try to keep things separate and have each have its little section instead of just throwing glitter and the white everywhere.
So now this is like a couple of weeks ago, I finally finished these. They got chunky from not being level, and I had to sand them down. So that's why they look like that, and I finally got around to finishing them, so I'm going to fill up my bottles with the correct thing inside.
Here's how my bottles turned out. I love them. It's so lovely to have decorative bottles for my crafts and epoxy. Thank you, guys. I will see you at the next one.
