Ombré Spray Paint Marble Tumbler for my MOM! EPOXY TUTORIAL!
https://youtu.be/IPOeZsgXIfc
Hey, guys starting with this black thermal flask that my mom had, she finally wants me to do a tumbler. So I taped off the top and did an ombre with the spray paint, starting with the midnight blue, then going in with aubergine, and then the french lilac or the silver lilac. Once that was dry, I went in with my first layer of artistry epoxy. I added a little bit of the opal mica powder like a tiny bit, and it said this pretty delicate sparkle all over the whole cup, and I think that's something nice to do if you're doing spray paint but you don't want to see the flat spray paint underneath.
You can see that little bit of shimmer once that is dry. I added blessed because my mom is blessed and wanted her cup to say that I thought it was cute putting that on the cup. This is like a coppery it's a textured vinyl, and I thought it would look nice with these colors from then going in with another layer of epoxy.
In this layer, we're going to do some marbling. I wanted to make sure I got the decal on first.t I don't like to avoid having the letters on top of the marbling. This is rose gold mica powder from artistry epoxy. I'm taking it on a little stick, a tiny bit at a time, and going over drawing the lines where I want.
I connect all the lines as it's turning to make sure there are no blank spots or parts that are looking a little weird, then I take my embossing tool or embossing gun; either way, heat it and move that around the metallic parts in that rose gold move and float and it looks cool when you do that make sure you don't overheat it because it will start running and dripping as it turns. If it does not look good, then you want to spray some alcohol to give it a little more of an authentic natural effect. It breaks up the pigment and looks excellent.
Then I finished one final coat of the artistry epoxy and this cup. It turned out beautiful, and she'll love it. This is more her style instead of like chunky glitter everywhere. I have your cup, you do, and I filmed it. I'm getting your reaction to how pretty that turned out very nice. I like it a lot, well that's a lot better than the Costco plain black one that I gave you, yes that turned out very cute, and now you're going to want like 50 more I probably will, and I'll take it to work and show everybody.
Thank you guys for watching!
