RUBY RED GLITTER TUMBLER TUTORIAL!
https://youtu.be/-ewnd_4UvAI
Hey, guys, I started with a 30-ounce straight skinny cup, using my color-flex paint in wine and my color-flex glitter. It's just this beautiful deep red, so I first go in with the paint. I just like to squirt it all over the cup and then use a brush to smooth it out, but the coverage of this paint is fantastic. I love that it's so smooth and so pigmented, and I love my paints. So I'm going to have some new colors launching soon.
Once you get the paint all on there, we're just going to take and do full coverage with the re glitter completely covering the cup. The paint has a glitter adhesive built in, so it just sticks and gives you that beautiful full coverage, and this color is just so stunning I've never done a cup with this color before. I've used it on several things, like a full cup of this color. Still, it was so pretty, so keep going until the whole thing is covered. Look at that sparkle and look at that beautiful deep red color. It's so cute.
I did two layers of epoxy. This is the fast artistry set, and you guys know the drill just spread it on evenly and let it sit, so after that second coat, we had a smooth base layer, so we're going to do our decal. I did more than rubies; I initially did a gold offset and black with a gold offset. I ended up changing this a little bit.
Sometimes you just must do what's in your head. Then you end up not liking it and redoing it, so I'm just showing that I put it on the just centering it and laying it on the cup, so then I cut out a bunch of like diamond shapes on in the gold vinyl, and I did different sizes, and this just was so cute.
I can't even it worked out exactly how I had it pictured in my head. I wanted to cascade jewels coming down the side of the wording and starting with bigger and going to more minor. So I laid them down in different ways, without rhyme or reason. I just shoved them on there. Then I wanted it to look like they were piling up on each other at the bottom. That's what it looked like. So I decided to take off the words and do a thinner gold than I did here. More than rubies is a reference to proverbs 3:15.
I'm going to read a little bit from that passage. Blessed are those who find wisdom and gain an understanding that she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies. Nothing you desire can compare with her long life in her right hand, and in her left hand are riches in honor. Her ways are pleasant, and her paths are peaceful. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her. Those who hold her fast will be blessed by wisdom. The Lord laid the earth's foundations by understanding. He set the heavens in place by his knowledge, the watery depths were divided, and the clouds let drop the dew, so I put the little verse on the back there, and I did this cup after two more coats after the vinyl.
I think it turned out beautiful, but I don't know if there's something about this glitter, the red, deep red glitter sparkling, and then I don't know it's an exceptional cup. Thank you guys so much for watching. Bye.
