Hey, you all welcome to day eight of my 12 Days of Christmas. Today we have my cowgirl Christmas big water bottle tumbler. I am in love with it I am excited about it. I would use this one if it were a straw top; I definitely would. I am curious if I will use this lid type, but I am obsessed with how it turned out. I .love that it has a white top. It's cute. I am in love with this very pink and girly cup, and I couldn't be happier with it, so without further Ado, let's get into the tutorial on this cup and make sure you come back for day nine tomorrow.
Starting with this big white water bottle taking off the packaging and the lid, and prepping with mattify, I'm going to take some electrical tape and tape off the top Rim, so I don't get any paint up there. I'm going to use pink petal color fix paint and apply that with a large brush it's a makeup brush. It's fluffy and gives you the smoothest application with these paints. This is one of our newer colors, and I love it much. It's such a pretty color.
I'm going to mix up some glitter. I'm taking peaches and queen; I'm taking ff4l, taking snowy in the chunky mix, and Christmas Eve. I wanted a beautiful, lighter Dusty pink chunky mix, and combining them gave me precisely what I wanted.
I added this to the form. I was showing you the label. I added icy this one has a lot of like iridescent pink, but I wanted it a lot more white, so I said that in there; that turned out the perfect pink to match this vinyl. Next, I did my first layer of epoxy. This is the Artistry one-to-one fast set.
Once that is dry, I'm going to put on my vinyl. I put on the lid to tell where the front would be, and I took my ultimate tool from the Cami Page Boutique to get a straight line. I line up where I want my vinyl compared to the front of the cup. Taking a permanent marker, you can use whatever marker pen anything you want and draw a straight line. I'm going to take my vinyl we're going to peel back the side a little bit, and cut off an inch or two, so we have something to stick onto the cup without having to worry about that backing getting in the way of placing this over the line that I did that none of the markers is showing and making sure it's completely straight on there.
You take the back, fold it over, and keep pressing and smoothing it out as you press it down. I have not applied a full wrap vinyl to many cups; this was easy with the tool guide. Giving me that straight line and having room in the back for your decal always is excellent. I'm taking some quick seals to seal the vinyl before we proceed with our epoxy.
Next, I'm taking some glitter glue to apply our glitter. I started on the bottom and just faded it upwards, and I'm going to ombre the glitter. I want it to cascade onto the picture, but not too much. We're going to apply the glitter. Once we get full coverage at the bottom, I'll angle it and ombre it upwards.
We get it cascading onto the Photo, and I'm doing the same thing on top and the same thing full coverage on the top and cascading down in between. I wanted full range and fading onto the picture sides. Once that was dry, I sealed it with clear spray paint. We're going on with another layer of epoxy.
I cut out some vinyl, and this Pearl vinyl is pretty. It's like a pearl white and this dusty lavender color, and I cut out cowgirl Christmas because I somehow had to tie this cow into Christmas. So I cut out the purple vinyl, and I did the white opal in an offset, stacking that vinyl, and then we'll put them on the cup simultaneously, centering it in the middle of the pink section of the cup.
I did two layers of epoxy to finish this cup, taking off the tape, turning off the Turner, and putting back my lid. I love these colors. I love the cow, flowers, and everything about it. I hope you guys love it too. Thank you, guys, for watching, and make sure you come back for day nine tomorrow.
