MAMA CLAUS PINK CHRISTMAS TUMBLER TUTORIAL! Day 4 of 12 Days of Christmas!
https://youtu.be/hJmWOtgRsXI
Hey, guys, welcome to day four of my 12 Days of Christmas. Today, we have this pretty pink Mama claws cup, and it says let's get Jolly on the back. It was fun and festive without being your typical Christmas colors if you're a fan of Pink and girly. Still, do you want to do some Christmas stuff? This is for you. It was fun and very different. So let's get into the tutorial and ensure you come back for day five tomorrow.
Gold rings start with this water bottle-style Cup. This is the Mana brand. I got this at Ross or TJ Maxx a while ago. I don't have the tag on it, but prepping it with mattify, I'm going to tape off the top Rim part because I don't want to get any paint or anything. I like to use electrical tape, for this works well. You can stretch it around and make it fit on there really lovely using the Glam color fix paint foreign, smoothing that out with one of our large paint brushes.
It's a fluffy makeup brush. Any soft makeup brush will do, but it helps to smooth this paint out and give you a friendly, smooth application, and I don't know why I didn't put this on some foam or something in like a holder, but I was painting it, and I was holding it with my hand I had to go with it foreign.
Let it set that down, trying not to touch the paint. Then, once that is dry, I will tack it over and over. I've used this a couple of times, and I realized that you had to wait and let it dry that's what I'm doing now, spreading it on, and I wonder why I used a glove. I've never done it that way before, but I decided to use gloves, so you can use brush gloves or whatever you want to spread that out.
I think I waited 45 minutes, and I'm going on with a white cap. So small it is hard to guess. But it's a time of happiness. I love doing this technique with a white cap. It looks pretty in any color that you could do. Once you have that on there, you're going to take a gloved hand and gently rub it on there, and it flattens the glitter and gives it that cool metallic look. I don't know. It makes the glitter look fantastic, and I love this technique. It provides a different look than the glitter around the cup.
I did a layer of epoxy, and I'm going on with these water slides. These are some flowers I found on Etsy. I will link them down below. I thought that doing a black kind of outline of flowers would look pretty, putting that in the water for like 15 seconds, putting it on my cup, and sliding It Off. I've gotten a few comments that you can do a water slide, place it face down, and peel off the backing. I have yet to try that, but that would be much easier than sliding it out from underneath. I don't know why we do it this way, but if the other way works, I'm doing it that way from now on. Get out any water underneath, doing the next one on the top.
Once that was dry, I added some quick seals to seal that in and ensure it didn't move when I did my layer of epoxy foreign. Next, I cut out some pink and black vinyl, and it says Mama claws. This is from Etsy. I thought it was cute. I weeded that out, and I'm going to stack them. Vinyl. This one is like a silver glittery, but I wanted it to pop more.
I am using this tool this is from Cami Page Boutique. This tool I have used much is imposing, but for uh centering decals, you just put it on the little part there, and then you can Center it on your cup. You get a straight decal every time it does many other features. I cannot say more about this tool. I'll have it below for you guys, but it's a game-changer. Once you get this, the snow is falling. I did the same three types of vinyl in the back of this. Let's get Jolly SVG, also from Etsy. That would be a cute touch to this mama claws cup.
Then I placed on by hand since it was big, and I didn't line it up with the grid when I put it on elevation right between us with the beautiful whenever I'm doing a decal by hand, I set it up and look at it straight on I feel like you can see it better than when it's laying flat.
I wanted to seal that vinyl because I stacked three of them Quickly. Sometimes you'll get one that pops up, and I was having a little bit of trouble with the black ones not wanting to stay down. I sealed that. Once that was dry, I went on with two more layers of epoxy something. I did it, it was time to take it off the Turner and put the lid back on, and it was all done. It's pretty; I love this. I love that it's festive and Christmassy, but it's still pink, girly, and fun. That's it for this video. Thank you guys much for watching, and make sure you come back for day five tomorrow bye guys
